Research Brief: Increasing Stakeholder Engagement

Key stakeholder engagement is critical to the success of a research project.

Stakeholders own the product or process being researched. They typically set the objectives, and best understand what a successful research project looks like. However, decision makers frequently are not involved in the actual research itself, or get involved too late in the process. That’s why we recommend using a number of tools and techniques before, during, and after conducting the research to engage stakeholders along the way.

This Research Brief will focus on tools and techniques that can be used to engage stakeholders during the research process.
